1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the AnkiFlash extension or add-on, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and remove the software from your device.
2. Description of Service
AnkiFlash is a productivity tool designed to automate the creation of flashcards for the Anki ecosystem. It is provided free of charge. There are no current or future plans to implement subscription fees or “paywalled” features.
3. Proper Use and Restrictions
- Educational Use: This tool is intended for personal, educational purposes.
- Prohibited Actions: You agree not to use AnkiFlash to perform automated “scraping” at a scale that disrupts the services of third-party dictionaries (e.g., Denial of Service attacks).
- Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the content (definitions/audio) complies with the terms of the respective dictionary providers.
4. Intellectual Property
- Software: The source code, logic, and branding of AnkiFlash are the intellectual property of Long Ly.
- Content: AnkiFlash does not own the dictionary definitions or audio files generated. This content remains the property of the respective third-party providers.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
AnkiFlash is provided on an “As Is” and “As Available” basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the tool will be error-free, that the data fetched from third-party dictionaries will always be accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the developer (Long Ly) be liable for any data loss, technical issues within the Anki software, or any incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use the tool.
7. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue support for AnkiFlash at any time without prior notice.
